A Bling and A Prayer Bible Review & Giveaway
From A Bling and A Prayer, this is the splendid Embellished ESV Tapestry Bible. The Bible's hard cover is hand stitched and hand embellished. Gracing the front cover are ornate embellishments atop rich tapestry fabric and TruTone (an excellent imitation leather). Together, a silvertone cross with sparkling golden Swarovski crystals, and an ornate antiqued brass embellishment form a striking centrepiece which is elegantly framed by antiqued brass corner embellishments. TruTone covers the spine and back cover.
This Bible is the English Standard Version featuring a double column format, the words of Christ in red, gold gild edged pages and a ribbon marker. It's well made and all the materials used to create it are quality materials. A big tick from me, love it!

Sweet on Meeps
Shell Sherree, talk about talent! I happened upon her delightful blog shortly before Christmas last year, and we've become good bloggy friends. Shell was having a giveaway when I happened upon her blog. I entered the giveaway and was one of the lucky one's who won a print of one of her gorgeous ink and watercolour illustrations. A couple of months ago I purchased the original Meep Miniature above from Shell. I was struck by how much the kitty reminded me of my darling purr-son.
I emailed Shell this photo of my purr-son (on my couch) so she could see the resemblance between the two kitties. And guess what Shell sweetly sent along with the gorgeous original Meep Miniature I purchased from her?
Another gorgeous original Meep Miniature! :)
What does Meep mean?
A gently surprised exclamation meaning, "How delightful!", especially used when happening by chance upon something tiny and enchanting, says Shell.
Meep Miniatures are ACEO size, 6.4 cm x 8.9 cm (2.5 " x 3.5 ").
Pssst! I'm hosting a giveaway here next week. The prize is a vintage art deco teacup saucer and plate set.
And I'm also hosting another giveaway the week after next. Just a hint about the prize - it's a vintage inspired version of a worldwide best seller.
Wishing you a sweet rest of the week dear ones! :)
