Shermancat 100% of the proceeds from sales go to the Humane Society of York County, USA. The HSYC is a non-profit organization that receives no government funding, and relies completely on donations to help the homeless animals in its care.
Run by volunteers, Shermancat is well stocked with a range of fabulous vintage items. Here are some of my favourite finds:
Above, cute miniature tea set and gorgeous framed mirror.
Wonderfully decorative books great for displaying.
Oh so romantic mirror tray with watch and faux roses included.

ReplyDeleteOn Fridays I like to blog about easy ways we can help to make the world a better place, and what better way than shopping where the money goes for good!

Yes! As the proud mom of not only 3 grown boys, all our animals (4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 parrot, 1 cockatiel, 1 rabbit) are RESCUES!! I think this is a WONDERFUL idea, and just might mention the possibilities to our local humane society - I agree with Cassiopeia - why not shop at a place where we know our money is serving a higher purpose? Thanks, Carla!
